    Increasing calcium

Our calcium is low. Any tried and tested products out there to help?
I do not have a sump. I have a remora skimmer, phosban reactor, and 3 hydors. Not a fancy system at all. There are sooo many products, so I am looking for some suggestions on what our members like to use, and ones they have had no luck with. Thanks!

Ive always used Seachem Reef advantage calcium. Its a powder your supposed to mix with a little freshwater and add to your tank. Being the lazy woman I am.. I find myself just putting a few teaspoons directly into my sump now and then. Mix it carefully with the freshwater.. it gets pretty hot for a few minutes.

    Re: Increasing calcium

I like turbo to raise the level, adjusting alc and mag then setting calcium is a pretty constant battle so to help that I drip about 4 gal's a day kalkwasser, levels stay longer, sometimes a tsp of vinager is added to boost the k solution, if your doing consistent waterchanges and your mixing the salt properly you can adjust the NSW on the second day.Is there a thread on mixing salt water properly somewhere?
