Thread: What type of eggs are...

  1. What type of eggs are...

in my tank i noticed on the bottom little white dots ( kinda like an egg) they are all in one corner.

This is what I have in my tank:

    2 spotted Corys
    10 juvy corys
    1 Iranian Rainbow
    6 Ausy Rainbows
    2 Torq Rainbows
    3 Columbias
    1 flying fox
    3 tetras
    3 rummy nose
    1 weather loach
    1 otto
    1 rainbow shark

    I think thats it...

My guess is the spotted corys. However, I had them in the 10 gallon not long ago and never saw anything like it.

Any snails in there? Hitchhikers on live plants? What size are the eggs, a pin head, bigger, smaller?

  3. Re: What type of eggs are...

about a pin size. All i have is apple snails.

The only thing I can think of are the corys. In my experience they usually lay them on the glass and kind of all over the place. If the eggs are grouped together inside what looks like Gel, they could be ramshorn snail eggs.
