Yup.. I'm an American by birth and a Canadian by choice.;) I immigrated in 2001 and just got my citizenship right before Christmas. I'm so glad I dont have to take any more tests!:icon_woot:
They dont make you do stupid tests do they??? what is this world coming to. Where are you from in the U.S.A half of my family is from washington state mostly seattle area th other half is detroit michigan area.

Heck yes they make you pass a written test. This is AFTER you have filled out a whole wack of forms, passed a zillion-12 security screenings, gotten FBI certificates from every place you have ever lived since you were 18, a medical exam, fingerprinting, pictures taken 3 times,.. ect. Not to mention paying fees.. lots and lots of fees.
Becoming Canadian isnt easy! But I :love: my Canadian man.:D

Well on the other side being born canadian and geting american citicenchip many years ago cost my parrents alot of monney just to jump though the hoops to prove that Im there son and that Im american because of birth but it has payed off my brother lives in seattle now and when I go to visit I am considerd american when I cross the border to go visset him and I am canadian when Im coming home at the border.
Oh by the way RonD it definatly is the beer up here couldent drink that american beer all the time if my life depended on it.

Dual is nice...Half Aussie and Half Canadian here.
borderjumper its definatly nice having both but i need to get my pasport as well i dont have canadian or american pasports i think i will get a canadian. Oh and cameron your an aussi my geat grandmother and great aunt were form austailia my granmother moved to the states in her 20s.
I've got US/Canadian citizenship. The test is no sweat! They give you a book to study from that has all the answers. Oh and then you get cake. :D haha I love Canada.
