I don't know if there are any more, I just caought it out of the corner of my eye and it is in the breeder tank now, so it's safe!!!
how long does it take for the fry to be born, how many, what do I feed it!

I have 7 that I found a couple days ago. I'm clueless who from and how tho, so I'm of no help to you there, sorry! But I can tell you that I'm taking the survival approach due to lack of tanks. I powder up some dry flake food and sprinkle in their corner they call home under the duck weed (Thank you Laura!) and they gobble it up no problem. Good Luck tho... aren't they soooo cute?!?!
It's aaaaaaaaall about the mirco worms ladies:D Of course, powder will do it too, but if you really want to see them rocket in growth, make sure they get a micro worm helping a day too if you can.

THEN he tells me he already caught about 20-30 of them! apparently, one of the fish dropped either last night or this moning and they are all hiding in the "fry savers" Kristie gave me (thanks kristie!) and he's just lifting them out of the water and they all come scurrying out!
Now I got to find a 10 gal I guess, FAST!
I don't think the 2 gal will be big enough, since the other 3 are still prego!

I can't believe the difference in the tank in just 4 days.
The Siamese algae eater is TWICE the size, one sword has developed beautiful fins and tail, second is halfway developed and a third is only partially a sword tail.
Three females are STILL prego, and I now have a 10 gal set up (scuffles feet on ground) with 8 orange fry and 10 black fry with orangie heads!

I really don't know, unless I just haven't looked at him lately, cause I've been so concerned about the babies.
I did give the adults TONS of food, maybe it was a growth spurt, lol
my next challenge will be the water change for the babies. I guess I will suck the water into a bucket, just in case I suck up a baby, lol
