Thread: Looking into good pumps...

  1. Looking into good pumps...

I am getting ready to start pricing out the filtration system for my big project.
Anyone know of a good place to get a large pump of reputable quality?
I'm looking for something big enough to handle such a large tank, and won't break down right away:icon_woot:

That's what I was wondering, if I'd have to go to a pond shop, or a pool shop?
I wanted it to be as close to 5000 gallons as possible, it might be a bit under as I'm trying to find the right shape to work out with the floorplans.

For plumbing and pumping that much water I'd consult with Van Isle.

Check with IPZ or Progressive.....they both stock BIG pumps!

Sorry. I'm not familiar with any pool/pond supply businesses in the Shuswap Lake area to recommend.
